What is the difference between fireworks and pyro?
Pyro generally refers to products that are used indoors in close proximity to the audience. As such, the effects are more contained. The size and type of fireworks is largely determined by the budget and space available outside to accommodate safety requirements for the more powerful explosives.

How long will my show be?
The length of your show is based on many different factors that include but are not limited to: the price of your show, the products used, and the desired effects. If you have a particular length of time in mind, please share that with us as we’re quoting your show. There is some flexibility we will have in making the show meet your timeframes and will work with you to design a show that is spectacular and within your budget.

What happens if it is raining or the weather is bad?
Unfortunately, we can’t control the weather.  We are always actively checking the weather on the day of your event and will inform you immediately if the conditions become such that it is no longer safe to shoot the show. Fireworks can be produced in any weather - rain and snow. The only thing that will force us to cancel your fireworks show are winds exceeding 40 km/hr. Depending on the event, we can work to either refund parts of your payment or reschedule the show for another day. 

Why do I need a professional fireworks technician?
Each year, there are hundreds of life-altering accidents relating to the misuse of fireworks. Fireworks deal with live black powder and a trained technician is best positioned to help ensure the safety of the show and viewers. In addition, only licensed pyrotechnicians can have access to what is called professional-grade fireworks, which leads to more impressive shows and effects.

How can I become a certified fireworks supervisor in Canada?
The ERD (Explosives Regulatory Division) puts on courses every year to educate and provide safety and legal awareness.
